The Health and Aged Assist 'Vacancy Register'
is updated throughout the day
We are pleased to provide this feature to anyone who needs to know where current aged care vacancies exist in their preferred area and the search can be customised based on an individual's aged care requirements. The Vacancy register contains permanent and respite vacancies in both high level and low level aged care, including dementia specific aged care placements.
Important information for facilities
If you are a facility and you would like to submit current bed vacancies, you will need to log in. If you are not a registered user, please click here to register.
Once you have logged in, use the options available to customise your vacancies.
All vacancies are only valid until they are filled or for up to 48 hours. After 48 hours they are automatically removed from the register and if they are still available, they must be resubmitted.
