	Welcome to Embracia On the Park *Embracia on the Park* is opposite Bald Hill Park where residents and their families can enjoy the benefits of outdoor living. We offer a warm and friendly home for 90 residents with garden views from every room, and we embrace the principles of the Eden Alternative, providing our residents with a home in which they continue to live, grow and experience the important things in their lives with the comfort and security of excellent care. CARE Embracia on the Park provides both high and low levels of care, a secure environment, some extra service high care for those who can afford a little more luxury, specialized dementia care and respite care. As with our other homes, residents can occupy the same room for the whole of their stay, and do not have to constantly move around as their care needs change. All of our homes provide 24 hour RN coverage supported by Personal Carers and a dedicated lifestyle team complemented by visiting specialists such as music therapists and allied health professionals. ACCOMMODATION We offer spacious single bedrooms with en-suites, built in wardrobes, thermostatically controlled heating, ceiling fans, telephone points, and a nurse call system. Our grounds at Embracia on the Park are landscaped with outdoor courtyards. We have comfortable living areas as well as more private sitting rooms with kitchenettes and a library area. All communal areas are heated and air conditioned. DESIGN Embracia on the Peninsula is divided into 4 Communities, in line with our social model of care, so residents can live in a more intimate environment and create closer, meaningful relationships with other resident and staff. Staff are permanently assigned to a community which allows for team building, a sense of belonging and allows them to form close continuing relationships with residents and their families offering a greater continuity of care. It also provides the staff and residents with greater empowerment and ownership of their community area, individualizing their community. COMMUNITY The home enjoys wonderful support from the local community and families, friends and neighbours of residents are welcome to frequent Embracia on the Park for as often and as long as they wish. We are about people, not routines. We are about living as well as health needs. We are about choice, not rules that don't relate to community living.
