Oak Towers is located in Oakleigh and has been providing aged care accommodation since the 1930s. In 2005 we completed an extensive redevelopment and opened 88 purpose built rooms. Oak Towers is now home to 134 residents.

We offer respite and permanent care accommodation; including low level care (hostel care) and extra service high care (nursing home care). All residents enjoy a secure environment and we specialise in providing care and services for people living with dementia. Ageing in place ensures that our residents can stay with us as their care needs increase from low care to high care.

Our nurses are available 24 hours a day and are well supported by a team of qualified carers, lifestyle and chaplaincy staff. While residents are encouraged to maintain their independence, our staff are trained and committed to meeting individual care needs.

Residents have access to a range of therapies and related services including physio and speech therapy, music therapy, podiatry, doctors-of-choice and visiting dentists, audiologists and optometrists.

We have an on-site Chapel, hairdressing salon, and aromatherapy and massage services available. CCTV surveillance of building and grounds adds to security.

All rooms are singles with a private en-suite and most include individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Residents are encouraged to add their personal touch to their rooms.

A full lifestyle program is offered to residents including regular outings in the facility bus. Activities take place in our large community rooms located throughout the building which are open for residents' enjoyment. Worship services are conducted by our chaplains each week and visiting clergy deliver a Sunday service.

All meals are planned by a dietitian and specially designed to meet the individual resident's needs. They are also all prepared in our commercial grade kitchen, onsite.
